We got two SmartBoards donated to us and I demoed one quickly this morning. Our drama teacher said it looked very much like this.

About
- Librarian/raconteur

I am sensing that there was no professional development that went along with the donated boards. There are companies, PolyVision, who make sure that teachers who get their products really know how to use it in ways beyond what your funny video was showing.
There’s training to follow. We had to select people to be trained first, but who would know if they wanted to be trained if they didn’t know what a SmartBoard was? We’ll see how the customer support turns out. I’m excited for the possibilities (beyond bouncing the states).
